With calming coastal interiors and breathtaking views across the beach and out to sea, it’s a wonderful spot to unwind and enjoy life by the water. Accessed through a paved courtyard with outdoor seating, it’s ideal for morning coffee or evening sunsets as the waves roll in.

Inside, a welcoming hallway leads to the cosy lounge, comfortably furnished with sofas, a Smart TV and Bluetooth radio. With a modern gas fire and central heating throughout, this is a relaxing retreat in every season. The adjoining dining area has a large extending table — perfect for family meals or game nights — and shelves stocked with books, puzzles and playing cards for those laid-back holiday evenings.

The modern country-style kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catering stay, including an electric oven, gas hob, integrated dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, toaster and microwave. Traditional steep cottage stairs lead to the first floor, where the front two bedrooms — one twin and one with bunk beds — enjoy uninterrupted sea views. The family bathroom includes a bath with overhead shower, while the spacious master bedroom looks out over the harbour and features an ensuite shower room.

At the back, you’ll find an enclosed paved yard — perfect for drying wetsuits and storing beach gear

• This cottage can be booked with the Beachcomber Cottage next door for a party of 12 guests.
• This is a traditional fisherman’s cottage with a steep staircase and we would advise extra care should be taken when using it.
• Parking is available on the street further up from the cottage or in the shipyard at the Harbour Head.
• Dogs are welcome.
