We’re a small, independent team based right here in Cornwall. We know the area inside out, from Porthleven’s harbour cottages to hidden coves along the West Cornwall coast, and we love sharing that knowledge with our guests.

We changed our name in 2025
After 15 wonderful years as Porthleven Holiday Cottages, we began a new chapter as Mounts Bay Holidays in 2025. Our rebrand was more than just a new name. Over the years, we expanded our collection of self-catering cottages beyond Porthleven, welcoming guests to beautiful destinations across West Cornwall.
Our new name reflects this growth and allows us to share even more of what makes our local coastline so special. Our heart will always remain in Porthleven – it’s where we started, and it’s still at the centre of our story. But now, as Mounts Bay Holidays, we showcase a wider range of Cornish holiday cottages – from Marazion to Mousehole, from the Lizard to Lamorna.
