One of Cornwall’s oldest and most cherished traditions, Helston Flora Day takes place on Friday 8th May 2026. The town comes alive with colour, music and dance as the famous Furry Dance parades through the streets, led by the stirring sounds of Helston Town Band. Homes and shopfronts are decorated with greenery and spring flowers, while locals and visitors fill the streets to enjoy the festivities. Held in the heart of Helston, it’s a joyful celebration of the arrival of spring and a must-see cultural event.
