Fisherman’s Retreat

Fisherman’s Retreat is uniquely located on the edge of the harbour just beyond the Old Lifeboat House, where it feels secluded but also gives access to all that Porthleven has to offer.  The garden and decked patio look straight out onto Porthleven’s highly regarded surfing reef with the famous clock-tower to the left. You won’t find more spectacular views anywhere in Porthleven!

Inside the cottage is reverse level taking advantage of the glorious views of the ocean from the first floor. Upstairs has an open plan layout, providing a large and spacious living area with exposed beams and wood flooring. A raised area provides a comfortably furnished living room with large sofa and armchairs, coffee table and occasional lamps, TV and bluetooth, digital radio.

Beyond the dining area is a well equipped kitchen features a touch control hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The family shower room has a shower and there is a separate WC with hand basin and an airing cupboard.

Downstairs are two double bedrooms with kind beds decorated with a relaxing seaside feel. There is gas central heating througout.

The nearest beach is on the other side of the harbour and coastal walks are easily reached from here with the South West Coast Path passing on the road behind. The nearest pub is the Ship Inn and there is a wide choice of cafe’s and restaurants in Porthleven just a minutes walk away.

• Private off road parking is shared with the Fishermen’s Loft allowing one parking space for each property.
• Dogs are welcome.
