Harbour Cottage

Harbour Cottage is situated on an iconic Georgian terrace overlooking the harbour. Porthleven’s historic harbour is lined with cosy pubs, cafes, local shops and restaurants and offers endless entertainment for families who enjoy swimming, paddle boarding or simply crabbing off the harbour walls. It is just a few minutes walk to Porthleven Beach, a long stretch of sand lifeguarded in the summer and frequented by dog-walkers in the off peak months.

Walk up the pathway of Bay View Terrace, taking in the stunning views of the outer harbour, and enter into the light filled hall way. Downstairs, there is a beautifully appointed kitchen diner, leading to a useful utility room and WC. The living room has glorious views over the harbour towards the iconic Ship Inn, clock tower and the rugged Cornish coastline beyond.  After a day out in the fresh air, cosy up in the living room with its wood burning stove and comfortable sofas.

Harbour Cottage has been beautifully renovated to sleep six people and two dogs. Upstairs, on the first landing are two luxurious bedrooms, one facing the rear with a twin or superking bed and the other facing the sea. The sea facing room is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee while watching the waves crashing over the pier in winter or activities on the harbour in the summer. There is a family bathroom and a Jack-and-Gill shower room. On the second floor is a further twin bedroom with skylights, perfect for children to have their own cosy room at the top of the house.

Sunseekers will love the beautiful terrace which catches the afternoon sun and evening sunsets. The terrace overlooks the charming harbour, offers views out to sea and is the perfect place to seek serenity while watching the ebb and flow of the tide.

• There are three floors in the property.
• There is an uneven pathway leading to the property and several stairs up to the front door.
• Parking is available in the surrounding streets or you can use the parking pass to park in the Porthleven Shipyard about 2 minutes walk away.
