About Trigg Cottage
Trigg Cottage is a beautifully finished coastal retreat on the cliffs of Porthleven, ideal for families or friends looking for luxury self-catering accommodation in Cornwall. With its breathtaking sea views, elegant interiors and easy, open-plan living, this is a place made for slowing down and soaking up coastal living.
Designed with reverse-level living to make the most of the coastal views, the first floor is home to a bright and spacious open-plan kitchen, living area with the dining area opening to the outside space. Large windows frame the ever-changing seascape across Mounts Bay, while the modern, fully equipped kitchen makes holiday cooking a pleasure. Gather around the dining table to share local seafood or sink into the comfy sofas and watch the waves roll in after a day exploring.
Downstairs, you’ll find two stylish en-suite king bedrooms and a lovely twin room with an adjacent shower room – perfect for families or groups. A handy laundry and boot room provides space for sandy shoes and beach gear after days on the coast path or beach.
Trigg Cottage offers two wonderful outdoor spaces. At the rear, the decked terrace is perfect for sunny breakfasts or relaxed al fresco dinners. Just across the quiet road, you’ll find a converted net-loft perched on the clifftop, complete with a private seating area and incredible uninterrupted views across Porthleven Beach and the sea beyond – a magical spot to watch the sun dip below the horizon with a glass of something chilled.
Trigg Cottage is proudly dog-friendly, so no one has to miss out on the adventure. With family-friendly beaches, scenic coastal walks and welcoming local cafés all within easy reach, this is the perfect base for making special memories in South West Cornwall.

Our best Porthleven holiday yet. The cottage was amazing and I loved going to sleep to the sound of the waves. We had brilliant weather too and were able to visit local beaches and swim in the sea. We enjoyed eating fish and chips in the front garden overlooking the sea and the back garden was lovely to sit and relax in too. The cottage was really well furnished and there was plenty of places to sit inside and out! Will definitely be returning!!
