Triton

As you stroll along the cliff side on Mounts Road, take in the views before walking up the cobbled path to enter Triton. Upon entering you will find the open plan living space, making the most of its elevated position with large french doors opening onto the Juliette balcony with views over the sea. From this position the whole room has a sea cruise-like feel.

The modern galley kitchen provides a lovely space for cooking with everything you would need for a night in. Porthleven’s delightful restaurants and cafes offer plenty of options for eating out too.

A few steps up from the kitchen is a seating area for enjoying your favourite morning cuppa or evening meal. The living space has a comfy sofa perfect for lounging with a book, or watching the ebb and flow of the tide. There is a TV and a cosy electric fire for chilly evenings. Depending on the time of year you could be treated to one of Porthleven’s spectacular storms or gorgeous sunshine and still sparkling waters below. Decorated in muted colours the whole space draws your eyes towards the mesmerising sea views.

Off of the living room, is a staircase leading to the bedroom below. This tranquil space has slatted shutters on the windows that open onto sea views and a compact bathroom with a shower. Open the windows to hear the sound of the sea as you wake under crisp white linen.

Just a few steps from the front door is ‘Blue Bouy Steps’ which lead down to the beach. Grab a bottle of your favourite and join the locals on a summers day to watch the sun go down or find a tranquil spot along the sea wall.

The South West Coast path passes Triton making it easy to find local walks in either direction. To the west you will find cliff walks to Loe Bar with beautiful views towards the Lizard Peninsular.

Whilst there is no parking at Triton, there are two long stay car parks only a few minutes away or on street parking nearby. We also offer our guests free parking in the Porthleven Shipyard located opposite the harbour slipway.

• The stairs to the bedroom are quite steep and may not be suitable for those with mobility problems.
